Welcome to the world of Black&Blue Berry Studio! We consist of myself, BlueberryBlanket and my fabulous partner MoEpic. We're planning on bringing a new twist to the English Kinetic Novel scene. If you're wondering what a kinetic novel is, here is a basic definition:
A mixed-media novel with no input from the player/reader that tells a story (usually) through a combination of sprites, text boxes, music, and lots and lots of clicking.
If you haven't noticed, there seems to be a lack of really extraordinary Kinetic Novels in English. And the ones that are have a tendency to be translated from a different language... That's not to say there aren't any in existence, they're just few and far between. Plus they seem to revolve around a recurring motif or theme.
That's where we come in. We present to you our first on-going project:
Amoena Anima
A fantasy novel set in a world where the definitions of "dead" and "alive" are askew and, occasionally, impossible to distinguish.
So, please offer us your support as we continue to work on AA! We will (try to) update twice every week to keep you informed on progress, updates, and anything we feel like talking about really...
